Caithness Connections



The DVD 'Caithness Connections' is a tour of Caithness, an area in the north east of Scotland bounded on the north by the Pentland Firth, on the east and south east by North Sea, and on the west and south west by the county of Sutherland. Here is a chance to see such places of interest as Lybster, Thurso, Crosskirk, Sandside Bay,The Stacks of Duncansby, Dunbeath, Keiss, Reay, Scotscalder, the island of Stroma, Scrabster, Watten, Westerdale and Wick. Also highlighted in Caithness Connections are local events such as  Caithness County Show at Wick, Latheron Show at Occumster, Halkirk Highland Games and The Massed Pipes and Drums in Thurso celebrating Thurso Pipe Band's 90th Anniversary. Taking part are Caithness Junior Pipe Band, Kirkwall City Pipe Band, Thurso Pipe Band and Wick Royal British Legion Scotland Pipe Band.

PAL Format 

There is an excellent musical soundtrack on Caithness Collections featuring Scottish musicians from the North.
