Bagpipe Teacher and Pipers On Parade (2 DVDs): A Special Edition Double DVD set of titles previously available separately.

Disc 1:  Bagpipe Teacher: will put you on the road to being a piper! You don't need to read music and any age can learn - the aim of this DVD is to make piping accessible to all. The first steps in learning to play the bagpipes starts with the Practice Chanter.  The program is hosted by Donald Lindsay, Director of the Invermark College of Piping who explains each lesson in detail giving you a clear demonstration of all fingering techniques. Each lesson ends with a musical demonstration by Pipe Major Alasdair Gillies or Frances Adams. Follow this easy method and you can learn to play Amazing Grace by the end of the programme. A bonus feature is 'American Piper', an entertaining television film about the incredible success of the bagpipe around the world. Featuring some great musicians including, Alasdair Gillies, Jim MacGillyrey, Donald Lindsay, Capercaillie and the voice of Isla St Clair.

Disc 2: Pipers On Parade:  In August 2000, thousands of pipers and drummers gathered in Edinburgh to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and play bagpipes. This appealing documentary combines dramatic street shots of the marching bands, music and commentary by Isla St Clair. 10,000 Pipers and Drummers from all over the world including The Massed Pipes and Drums of the Edinburgh Tattoo, Scottish Power Pipe Band, The Strathclyde Police Pipe Band. A bonus feature is 'A Capital Regiment' Unique TV film of military pageantry at its best featuring the Massed Pipes & drums of the london Scottish Regiment and the london Irish rifles and the Military Band of the Queen's Division. there are also additional bonus features.
