Vatersay Boys ((An Rathad a Bhatarsaigh): Augmented to a four-piece, with pipes, whistles and guitar the energy-laden Vatersay Boys demonstrate their unique blend of Highland music.
The 'Boys' were nominated in the 2006 Scottish Traditional Music Awards in the Best Live Band category and, each year their ceilidhs in the Barrowlands Glasgow are sell-out shows. This surely indicates the magic they can perform onstage.
The group fronted by Michael Campbell of Vatersay (accordion) and Donnie MacNeil of Barra (drums) have gathered a fan-base for their rough, raw, no nonsense set of ceilidh dances.
