Members of the Berkhamsted Strathspey & Reel Club regularly welcome Sandy Nixon and his Scottish Dance Band to play for their Highland Balls including the Diamond Ball Anniversary Ball. The band's hallmark breadth of sound augments their superbly arranged tunes, giving life to the contributions of each band member and great pleasure to dancers, listeners and band alike! The club members were delighted when Sandy, Hamish, Jim, John and Ian agreed to record this CD to accompany their Diamond Collection Book of Dances.
