Maggie Adamson is one of Shetland's finest young fiddlers who exemplifies the dynamic techniques which has made the Shetland fiddle style famous. She is only 19, yet already she has made several CDs and, in November 2011, her flair and passion impressed the judges enough to win her the prestigious 'Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship'! Maggie is regularly accompanied by Brian Nicholson, perhaps Shetland's most gifted and prodigious guitarists and 'Hameaboot' is their 4th CD. A lilting and beautifully played tune selection as you are likely to find.
