The World Pipe Band Championships 2009 (Volume One) CD: For the second year in a row the victors at the 2009 World Pipe Band Championships were the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band from Canada led by Pipe Major Terry Lee. This CD displays their admirable talents on that great occasion at Glasgow Green in August 2009 along with the superb performances of the next six runner-up bands.
The fabulous annual event attracts many thousands of spectators who can watch around 8000 pipers and drummers in 200 bands from as many as 16 nations compete for the prestigious World Pipe Band Champions title.
