This CD was put together after Simon was watching the hundreds of Christmas adverts on TV for love song CDs. It occurred to him that this CD would be a lovely project that would feature Scotland's top singers and musicians. There's such a wealth of Scots material to fill a CD like this and we felt that we got the balance just right.

Sheena Wellington - a wonderful traditional singer from Dundee, Sheena had the great honour of singing at the opening in Edinburgh of the new Scottish Parliament on 1st July 1999.
Tam White - Equally at home singing blues or folk music Tam leads his own outfit The Shoestring Band.
Elspeth Cowie - Elspeth's rich smokey voice fronted the band Seannachie but she equally spell-binding in her unaccompanied singing She also served for several years as leader of the Traditional Music and Song Association of Scotland.
