Monthly news summary of all the happenings and up and coming events in the Scottish Traditional Music scene.
A Celebration of Clyde Valley Jazz: For a small part of a (relatively) small island, Scotland has produced some amazingly fine players in the trad/Dixieland jazz genre. This album is a tribute to the Scottish jazzers who kept the Clyde Valley ringing & a-jumping. Lots of great players on this CD and 6 of the 16 tracks feature the inimitable 'George Penman's Jazzmen'. George, a stalwart of the Scottish jazz scene died in 2009 so we hope hearing his band on this collection will serve as a fitting tribute to his years of dedication and commitment to "keeping the music Live..."
