Monthly news summary of all the happenings and up and coming events in the Scottish Traditional Music scene.
Catherine-Ann MacPhee is one of Gaeldom's most celebrated singers. On this album, her first since 1994, she sings many of her all-time favourite Gaelic songs including several from her childhood on the Island of Barra like Ho mo Luran, He mo Luran and Failte Dhruim Fionn. Catherine-Ann has dedicated this CD to the memory of some very dear friends including the late John McGrath founder of the great 7.84 Theatre Company and Tony Cuffe and Davy Steele two much-missed stalwarts of the traditional music scene. The CD was produced by Tony McManus.
