Bobby MacLeod - Tobermory: Featuring the one and only Bobby MacLeod and his Scottish Dance Band. There are also tracks from Calum MacLean (accordion) and a couple of songs from the MacKenzie Sisters Bobby MacLeod (1925-1991) broadcast with his band for the first time in 1949 and was the first West Coast band leader to emerge on the Scottish dance music programmes on the BBC. He was the man who pointed Scottish dance music in a different direction and gave it the West Coast sound and style.
