Barbara Dickson - Words Unspoken: Popular entertainer Barbara Dickson has had huge success with her singing career, selling millions of records and winning countless awards. With her latest recording "Words Unspoken" the talented musician has gone back to her traditional folk music roots. Barbara was a star of the Scottish folk scene during the 1960s and 70s and her impeccable folk credentials shine through on this lovely album. There are 12 tracks, eight of them traditional songs including the gorgeous ballad 'Will ye Gang Love' and the Burns classic 'Ca' the Yowes'. Barbara's rich and beautiful voice is wonderful throughout and there are several fine musicians to complete the backing arrangements in the shape of Troy Donockley (guitars, uilleann pipes, whistle, bouzouki, keyboards, percussion, vocals), Brad Lang (bass, vocals), Frank Van Essen (violin, viola, drums), Andy Dinan (fiddle), Lucy Muir (harp) and Nick Holland (vocals).
