Alyth McCormack and Triona Marshall - Red & Gold: Alyth and Triona came together to tour with the Chieftains, which they did to great acclaim. Alyth's amazing voice is lilting, soft and pure. Scottish and Irish traditions are merged - with beautiful vocals and harp into a magical duet. Siobhan Long writes in the Irish Times: " Red & Gold is a languorous collection of songs and tunes that draw on each artist’s strength with equal verve. McCormack’s voice, sweet but with sufficient bite to add body to the songs, is partnered by a raft of evocative and agile arrangements from Marshall on harp."
