The Jim MacLeod Collection (book)

This collection of Scottish songs and dances 'broadcast and recorded by The Jim MacLeod Band' was published in the 1970s by the demand from the MacLeod band's many fans. It features a collection of tunes and songs written by Jim MacLeod and Jimmy MacFarlane who played fiddle and whistle in the band lineup at the time. Jim MacLeod was the 1975 'TV Personality of the Year' and host of his own Radio Clyde Record Show.

Not a Kerr's original publication, this book was originally an imprint of Glasgow company Mozart Allan. The company was eventually incorporated into Kerr's along with Bayley & Ferguson and Thistle Records.
