Warm and resonant fingerstyle guitar provide a backdrop to stories of growing up, travel, relationships and everything else life can throw at us. Larry has played at many of the major venues in Scotland including The Royal Concert Hall, King Tuts, The Glasgow Piping Centre, The Tron Theatre as well as being invited to perform at T in the park in 2001. "Tin the park is obviously a major gig to play, and I really enjoyed the experience, however, it's the smaller, more intimate venues I've played that stick out for me." Some of these venues has paired Larry alongside artists such as, Gordon Haskell, Amy Allison and Stewboss, every gig adding numbers to his forever expanding fan base .
It's not just us here in Scotland who are lucky enough to hear Larry's songs. During September/October of 2002 Larry travelled across the American West playing small gigs and appearing live on Radio. "Myself and my girlfriend Christine travelled through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska" he recalls fondly. "We had a wonderful time and it was a fantastic bonus that my music went down so well. My songs are still being requested and played over there, I'm really proud of that." Larry will be doing the same tour in September 2004 |
