Chris Armstrong was 16 years of age when this CD was recorded and had already won many accolades for his fine playing including 5 gold medals at the Cowal Games.
Gordon MacLean, aged 17 from Balfron in Stirlingshire was taught chanter by his father, also a piper. He won several medals at The National Mod and The Cowal Games and in 1995 won the MacGregor Memorial Competition at Oban.
16 Years old Andrew Wright started playing with The 6/8 Boys Brigade Band moving on to The Macnaughtons Vale of Atholl Pipe Band under P/M Ian Duncan. He is a four times winner of the Junior Piobaireachd at The Inverness Northern Meeting.
Stuart Cassells from Falkirk, although only 17 years old has won almost every major junior piping event, including The National Mod and The Royal Highland Fusiliers' Competition. He plays with The Macnaughtons Vale of Atholl Pipe Band.
