    Adam McNaughtan

Adam McNaughtan is a Scottish folk singer and song writer, noted for his songs on post-War Glasgow. Amongst his works are The Jeely Piece Song, a humorous song about tower blocks and Where Is The Glasgow That I Used To Know, which was quoted by Prince Charles at the opening of the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival. A product of the Scottish Folk Revival of the 60s, he has been writing, collecting and singing songs for three decades and has become one of the best-loved Glasgow characters.

    Albums:

Adam McNaughtan: The Words That I used to Know (2 CD set)
This two-CD collection of songs gives a great overview of Scottish culture, both old and modern.
